The Sixth Day

•••

Today, I did my Routine inside a small chapel here in Copacabana - one-a-half block from our apartment. Today would have the 39th birthday of our son were still alive.

Here's how I proceeded with the Routine, this time around.

• First, I did the breathing exercise. Then, I did the complete Relax - 3 times.

• And because, I do not have my notes with me to review. I imagined and went through the whole process of the Routine - just to remind myself of the sequence of the Step. Then, I went to through the Routine.

• Following some experience of others mentioned in our interchange yesterday, I did an Asking before actually going into the process.

• I went up the 3 steps leading to the Threshold. Here, I tried to feel and have the attitude of entering the "world of Forms, and have the sensation that I am about to enter another space apart from my daily one - that I am about to enter the "Sacred Space.

• As soon as I went through the "moon gate" - which is my entrance to the Threshold - I felt s different presence and as I walked towards the middle of the wide open space of the white plain (actually, I can't see any color), I felt that I was in the center of something limitless - I can not see any horizon. I begun to feel some Force. I stayed here for a while.

• Then, the horizon in front of me begun to materialize and started to move towards me. Then, the ones on my 2 sides and my back - forming a square.

• Then, the corners of the square begun to curve, slowly forming a circle.

• Then, petal-like shapes begun to rise-up from the edge of the circle - forming a dome above my head. I am beginning to have the sensation of some Force.

• Next, the bottom of the circle where I am standing, begun to curve down forming a complete sphere with me in the center. The Force is stronger now.

• I became the one included in the sphere - the image I see in the screen is now gone; but, I now feel that I the observer - doing the Routine - the one included in the sphere. The Force is now much stronger.

• I ended the Routine by thanking my Guide and the "Sacred Form" for the experience.

Note: Things around me after the Routine seemed to me more vivid and clear. I guess, as a result of the work I just did.

The Fifth Day

•••

• I read the summary of the images sequence again.

• Study and tried to impress the image of the Threshold ("Moon Gate") on my memory. Tried to remember the details of the image. The stairs with its three steps. The walkway to the entrance. The trees, the planters, the yellow flowers, the rocks, etc.

• Studied the process images again - the open space, the square, the circle, the semi-sphere, the sphere, etc.

• Did some breathing exercise; then, the complete Relax 3 times.

• I started the Routine.

• I climbed the 3 steps going towards the Threshold with the attitude of going towards the "the World of Forms" and begun to walk to the center of the white plain. It then, started to expand in all directions - without limit. I had the sensation of a strong Force.

• I continued to stay with the register of the Force.

• Then, the plain started to contract into a square. The horizon in front of e stated to move towards me; then, the horizon on my left and my right also moved towards me; finally, the horizon on my back. Again, I felt some sort of unstable sensation. (Resolution: will try to stay with this unstable sensation longer next time to observe what really is going on here.)

• The square became a circle, then, the circle became a semi-sphere; here I begun to be included in the semi-sphere - again, felt some Force.

• The semi-sphere became a complete sphere - now, the Force is much stronger.

• I continued to be the one included in the sphere. The sphere expanded to coincide with the "Space of Representation". Now, I felt the strong register of the Force.

• I concluded the Routine.

Resolution: I will try to do the Routine more smoothly next time - longer, but in one "clean swoop". Also, I will do this Step one more time, then I will proceed to the next Step of the 1st Quatern: "Concentration".

The Fourth Day

•••

Today, I did the Routine in the morning. 11:40 AM

I did the complete sequence of the Relax. 3x

I did the Routine.

I wrote the notes [observations and resolutions].

• Got the Force while in the middle of the wide open space - felt the sensation of infinity.

• I felt a little unstable while in the middle of the square.

• I felt the Force again while in the center of the circle, semi-sphere and the sphere.

• Felt stronger Force when I expanded the sphere to coincide with the space of representation at the same time that "I" the "observer" and the one being "observed" became one and "I" became included in the center of the sphere.

• This time, I have to stay longer with the sensations and observed more the registers.

• I ended the Routine.

The Process | Step One

•••

Below are images from the sequence of the process of the 1st Step of the First Quatern - that I thought could help me with my imagining the elements in the Routine.

To see the Summary of the sequence, go to the entry - The Third Day.

The Threshold

•••

To help me imagine the gateway to the Sacred Space - I composed this image and created my own interpretation of the Threshold. This particular entrance is a Chinese "Moon Gate".

The Third Day

•••

• I begun my pre-routine preparation by reviewing the text of the 1st Quatern once more. Then, it occurred to me that it would be a great help if I write a summary of the main images of the Steps of the 1st Quatern with emphasis on the sensations and the registers.

Here below, is the summary:

01 Entering the Threshold, with the sensation of "going towards the world of Forms".

02 Standing in the center of the white plane that extends in all directions, with the sensation of "being in the center of 'infinity'".

03 The register as the horizons on my front, two sides and back begin to move towards me forming a square.

04 The register of the Action of Form while standing in the center of the square.

05 The register of the Action of Form while standing in the center of the circle.

06 The register of the Action of Form while standing in the center of the semi-sphere.

07 The register of the Action of Form while standing in the center of the sphere.

08 The register as one makes the limits of the sphere coincide withe 'space of representation' with the sensation that "there is nothing outside of the sphere" and that it is 'omnipresent' - at the same time that the register of 'me' - the 'observer' - becoming the one included in the center of the sphere.

•••

• After writing the above summary, I did the complete Relax. I went through the exercise three times.

• I begun my Routine by elaborating my allegory of the Threshold. I went up the stairs. It has 3 steps. I walked through an entrance just like a Chinese "moon gate" - that was separating the spaces - where I am and where I am going.

• I went through the Threshold and entered the wide open space. I registered the sensation of being in the center of something limitless.

• Then, the horizon in front of me started to move towards me. Then, the two sides - then, the horizon on my back - forming a square, with me in the middle.

• Then, the corners of the square begun to curve - slowly forming a perfect circle with me in the center. I registered a slight action of form.

• Soon, petal-like shapes started to rise from the edge of the circle forming a semi-sphere. Then, the floor begun to curved down - forming a complete transparent sphere. Here, I started to register the Force.

• And finally, I register 'me', the 'observer' became the one included in the center of the sphere. I continue to experience the Force.

• After some time, I ended the Routine.

•••
Resolution: To try to stay longer with the sensations and registers. Also, try to observe better these registers that accompany the 'action of forms'.

The Second Day

•••

Note: I will practice each step of the Quatern for 5-7 days each before doing the next step. Then I will do the complete sequence during the remaining days - until and before starting the 2nd Quatern.

Day 2

• Before doing the Routine, I drew - roughly, with stick figures - simple renderings of the main images for the 1st Quatern.

• Then, I reviewed the steps of the Quatern.

Note: Only after doing the routine did I realize that I forgot to do the Relax first. So, the first resolution of the day: do the Relax before doing the Routine. Doing the Relax prior to doing the Routine has two benefits: 1st, it relaxes one and 2nd, doing the relax puts one in the inertia of attention.

• So, I begun my Routine by going up a stairs with 3 steps. I slowly walked through the round entrance. The entrance "door" is in the form of a 3/4th circle - just like the "moon doors" famous in Asia. The walls are made of white trellis - it has perforations, but I can not see the other side.

• I entered through the Threshold. I am now inside the white plane. I waled to the center. I can sense that there are no end to this plane. The "floor" is limitless.

Note: I have to observe the register more next time.

• Then slowly, the horizon in from of me begun to move toward me - stopping about some meters away from me.

• Then, the horizons on my left and right moved towards me also.

• Then, the horizon on my back - forming a square with me in the middle.

Note: Remember to make the square just the right size next time.

• Now, the corners of the square begun to be rounded - until the sides begun to form a perfect circle.

Note: Try to stay longer here to feel the register of being in the center of a circle.

• From the edge of the circle, petal-like shapes begun to rise curving up, forming a semi-sphere. I begun to register something.

• Then, the floor of the semi-sphere begun to curve down, forming a perfect sphere with me in the center.

• I made the sphere larger until it enveloped me. I am still in its center. I begun to experience mildly, the Force. The space became clearer - lighter.

• I stopped the Routine after some time.

The First Day

•••

• This was my first day working on the Discipline. I chose to do the Morphological Discipline.

• After watching the video with friends who are also going to do Morphology, we interchanged among ourselves about how each one of us understood the text of the material on the Discipline.

• Then, each one went to a secluded place in the park. I chose a place under a tree to hide myself from the sun. The place is not ideal; there were bugs flying about and all kinds of noise could be heard from all directions. Children playing, a baby crying, speakers from vans blurting political propaganda, a cargo train passing by, etc.

• Anyway, I waited for the noises to subside a little and did the Relax. I did whole sequence three times.

• So I begun the routine - doing the all the steps from the first to the fourth (as follows: 1st Step - The Entrance, 2nd Step - Concentration, 3rd Step - Extesion, and the 4th Step - Transit). I completed the whole Quatern, maybe in ten minutes or so.

• Afterwards, I read the text one more time, trying to imagine each moment of the sequence - trying to remember as much as possible each step, especially, the more important parts.

• Then, I went through the four steps for the second time - although, much slower this time. Trying to stay longer on moments I felt important especially, towards the end of each step and sequence - to pay more attention to the registers and indicators.

• Towards the end of the 2nd Step, I experience something for the first time - something that I have never experienced before.

• When making the sphere contract and making it small as possible - until it is just a small point - together with the register, there came a moment when the point disappeared altogether. The whole space became all luminous and light, then, changing color - changing into light and luminous green.

• I can't see the point anymore, but, somehow I have the register that it is still there somewhere - and also, I can feel it moving around. I just can't fix its position in the wide space.

• I felt a disequilibrium I have never felt before. The whole space was so destabilized. I felt some force. The experience lasted for a few minutes.

• I continue to do the 3rd and 4th Steps of the Quatern with minimal registers.

Resolution -

01 Put more attention and perfect the image of the Threshold.

02 Review the material and try to remember the suggested experience and registers.

03 Do the Routine slower and stay with the registers for a longer time.

04 Note down the experience as soon as the Routine is finished.

What is Morphology?

•••

Yes, what is Morphology? It is one of the four Disciplines that is now being undertaken by thousands of postulants in their honest quest for self-transformation in all parts of the world - from the foothills of the Andes to the lowlands of Mozambique to the island of Manhattan. The other three Disciplines are the Material Discipline, the Energetical Discipilne and the last one, the Mental Discipline.

I am not going to elaborate more on this subject; I would rather point you to the official site, www.silo.net to find out more about the Disciplines and how you can participate in this endeavor.

Tomorrow, I will start logging my daily experiences on this blog that will serve as journal for this trip into the unknown world of spheres, cylinders, cones, pyramids and cubes - the geometric solids.
